I am a product of a very small, tiny village in south central Michigan. In terms of technology, I remember my parents buying our first computer when I was about 8 years old. My brother and I were amazed, and fought viciously, when we found Wolfenstein 3D on the computer. From this first experience, I have always loved connecting with the computer; possibly spending too much time on them. The ability to communicate with people and find quick sources of information absolutely blew my mind.

I have recently finished my 4th year working at a small public school in south central Michigan at Camden-Frontier Public School. I am teaching US History, World History, and Government and Economics. In the past, I have also taught 7th grade Social Studies and Current Events. I am also finishing up my Master’s of Arts in Educational Technology at Michigan State University. Along with teaching, I’m heavily involved with the student body and I have taken on two middle school basketball positions, varsity track, student council adviser, and class adviser. My passion as an educator is technology integration in the classroom. I love to create and design lessons that inspire and motivate student creativity. I also enjoy helping instruct other staff members on different ways to efficiently and properly use technology in the classroom.IMG_3228
