Year 3 is my final year for the MAET program — I can taste graduation. The last two years, I joined the hybrid version of the Master’s class (2 weeks on campus, 4 weeks online). However, this year is only offered overseas in Galway, Ireland. At first, I was going to finish it up online, but had decided that this will be one of the few chances that I have to explore my love for teaching and technology and also to see a beautiful country at the same time. The focus of this summer has been creativity. We are current reading Sparks of Genius in which the author states there are 13 critical thinking tools of the world’s most creative people (observing, imaging, abstracting, recognizing patterns, forming patterns, analogizing, body thinking, empathizing, dimensional thinking, modeling, playing, transforming, and synthesizing)
